I was delighted to be selected in the Oficial Selection for the London International Creative Competition (LICC) in 2022 and 2023. The ten award-winning paintings from 2022 explore key visual and emotional themes that define my work. These pieces incorporate fractal pattern, from the shimmering interference on the surface of soap bubbles to the weathered formations of tafoni rock, alongside human forms and psychological imagery reflecting struggles with mental illness. Each painting carries fragments of my story, echoing the emotional spectrum found in my book My Life – from sorrow and hardship to joy and healing.
